LOCATION: Diani Beach, South Coast ACCESS: Around 90 minutes from Mombasa Airport, with 10 daily scheduled services from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta international airport. Direct flights from England, Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy in to Mombasa are also available. Five minutes from Ukunda Airstrip, for private charters and a daily service to & from the Maasai Mara and Nairobi Wilson airport.

STYLE: Sheltered on a coral cliff, above the talcum sands of Diani Beach, this stylish private Villa is perfect for exclusive lazy days, fine food and panoramic views. Bright and breezy, flowing fabrics and East African artefacts, carved Lamu doors and wooden beams reflect the regions link with Asia. Most of the furniture is made on the property

DESCRIPTION: Considered by many as the finest Villa on the East Africa coast, the Cliff Villa overlooks the Indian Ocean and its elevated position ensures privacy and stunning view on Diani Beach, considered one of the best in Kenya, where it is possible to walk for 5 miles to the north and 5 miles to the south. One large veranda with huge hand carved sofas with cushions dominates the front of the villa; a stretch swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging into the sea and the horizon. The concept is as you please! Private dining is a la carte, served al fresco or in your villa - your choice, as too is the cuisine. All meals are included served daily at each villa, and all drinks including local and imported brands of alcohol.

ACCOMODATION: 8 guests can be accommodated in 4 bedrooms all en-suite, dining room, kitchen, lounge and a large veranda over looking the Indian Ocean. All rooms are air conditioned with mosquito nets. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. (3 double rooms + 1 twin room) We can provide two extra double rooms in a separate villa, facing the same garden where Cliff Villa is located, where the interior decoration and the style are the same like the rooms in Cliff Villa, the 2 rooms have slip unit A/C.

EXCLUSIVITY: Guests at Alfajiri Cliff Villa have exclusive use of the property. No other guest, belonging to another group, will be booked at the same time.

SERVICE: Discreet service from experienced staff as and when required. Alfajiri won the Harpers and Queen award as private villa providing the best service worldwide. CUISINE: Fresh seafood is brought daily to order from the beach and includes some of the best crab, prawns, lobsters, octopus and sea fish available. Our menus have a Mediterranean influence; olive oil and Parmigiano cheese are flown in weekly from Europe. The salads and fresh vegetables come daily from local farms and the fruit is handpicked from trees and bushes around Diani. The Molinaro’s will adapt menus to suit the guests. Wines: A choice of good quality South African and Italian wine available.

GOLF: An 18-hole championship golf course is ideally located less than two minutes away from Alfajiri Cliff Villa. Home to the Diani Beach Masters, this is recognized as one of the most exciting golf courses in East Africa. Fully irrigated fairways run through Palm, Cashew nut and Casuarinas Pine trees The par 72 and 6084-meter course has 85 bunkers and a large lake, which guarantees a challenging and exciting game of golf. The golf course also plays host to abundant bird-life and several species of monkey.

THE TEAM: The house is owned and hosted by Fabrizio Molinaro and his wife. After completing medical school in Italy, Fabrizio has spent the last 30 years in Kenya in the safari business and traveling the world. Marica was in the fashion business for many years and she is now an interior designer for some of Kenya’s most luxurious house. The butlers speak English, French and Italian.

SEASONS: The Cliff Villa is open all year.

CLIMATE: Alfajiri Cliff Villa has an excellent climate with little humidity from September to March. There is a continuous off or onshore breeze. During the period from May to July the weather could be windy and you could experience rainy days.

Alfajiri Beach Villa

STYLE: African style beach house with makuti roofs, okra floors and beautifully decorated, with artefacts from Africa and the Far East.

DESCRIPTION: The private veranda overlooks the swimming pool merging into the sea and the horizon. Most of the furniture is made in the family-run workshop and reflect the strong African influence in the Interior décor of Beach Villa. The concept is as you please! Private dining is a la carte, served al fresco or in your villa - your choice, as too is the cuisine. All meals are included served daily at each villa, and all drinks including local and imported brands of alcohol.

ACCOMMODATION BEACH VILLA: 4 double bedrooms with their own bathroom. The 2 double rooms on the ground floor and 1 twin room on the first floor have air-conditioned with split-level units and mosquito nets. The other double room on the first floor has no air condition but have fan and mosquito net.
